Typical Day in the Regiment
Typical 4/C (Freshmen) Day
- 0600-0630: Breakfast
- 0630: Morning Muster
- 0635: Cleaning Stations
- 0720: Morning Quarter
- 0735: Room Inspection
- 0800-1600: Class
- 1050-1250: Lunch
- 1600-0800: Study/ Personal Time/ Watch*
- 1745-Close: Dinner
*4/C stand one of two watches on the T/V State of Maine: Fire and Security or 4/C Engineering Assistant. One four-hour watch is stood approximately once every six to nine days. Watches are stood only between 1600 and 0800 for 4/C. All watches take precedenc over other activities like clubs, sports, etc.
Typical 3/C (Sophmore) Day
- 0600-0700: Breakfast
- 0635: Cleaning Station Supervisor (about 4 per semester)
- 0720: Morning Quarters
- 0800-1600: Class
- 1050-1300: Lunch
- 1600-0800: Study/Personal Time or Watch*
- 1730-Close: Dinner
Typical 2/C (Junior) Day
- 0600-0720:Breakfast
- 0720: Morning Quarters
- 0800-1600: Class
- 1600-0800: Study/Personal Time or Watch*
- 1715-Close: Dinner
*2/C stand one of two watches on the T/V State of Maine: Assistant Officer of the Deck (A-MOOD) or 2/C Engineer. As a 2/C, you stand one four-hour long watch approximately every seven to ten days. 2/c Engineer watches are stood between 1600 and 0800. A-MOOD watches are stood 24 hours a day. They are, however, rescheduled to not interfere with classes during the day. All watches take precedence over other activites like clubs, sports, etc.
Typical 1/C (Senior) Day
- 0600-0800: Breakfast
- 0720: Morning Quarters
- 0800-1600: Class
- 1600-0800: Study/Personal Time or Watch*
- 1700-Close: Dinner
*1/C Stand one watch on the T/V State of Maine: Midshipman Officer of the Deck (MOOD). As a 1/C, you stand one four-hour watch approximately every seven to ten days. Watches are stood only between 1600 and 0800 for 1/C. All watches take precedence over other activites like clubs, sports, etc.
