Room Regulations 2006-2007

1/C and higher Midshipmen

Furniture Allowances (in addition to residence hall's furniture):

  • 1 Couch
  • 1 Lounge Chair
  • 1 Coffee Table or other Small Table
Furniture Configuration:
Any floor arrangement within safe boundaries. Racks bay be bunked or un-bunked. Must conform to MMA Student Handbook regulations.

Authorized Appliances:

  • Television with VCR and/or DVD Player (Internal or External)
  • Stereo System (stand alone or internal to another authorized appliance)
  • Refrigerator (must conform to regulations in the MMA Student Handbook)
  • Microwave
Wall Decorations
Any number of wall hangings are authorized so long as they conform to the regimental manual and MMA Student Handbook Regulations.

2/C Midshipmen

3/C Midshipmen

Furniture Allowances (in addition to residence hall's furniture):

  • 1 Lounge Chair
  • 1 Coffee Table or other Small Table
Furniture Configuration:
Same configuration as 4/C except the racks may be bunked or un-bunked and located anywhere in the room. Must conform to MMA Student Handbook Regulations.

Authorized Appliances:

  • Television with VCR and/or DVD Player (Internal or External)
  • Stereo System (stand alone or internal to another authorized appliance)
Wall Decorations
Any number of wall hangings are authorized so long as they conform to the regimental manual and MMA Student Handbook Regulations. A White Board and/or Cork Board are authorized in addition to the posters.

4/C Midshipmen

Furniture Allowances (in addition to residence hall's furniture):

None

Furniture Configuration:

Wall lockers and the clothing bureau will be against the bulkhead with the mirror. The bureau will be centered under the mirror and the lockers will be on either side of the bureau facing the center of the space. Desks and the three drawer, lockable desk bureaus must be at the opposite end of the space. The Desks will be against opposing bulkheads in the corners in that same end of the space. The desk bureaus will be against the sides of the desks against the wall, facing towards the center of the space. Racks will be un-bunked and located against the same bulkheads as the desks. The headboards will be against the desk bureaus.

Authorized Appliances:

Only those authorized by the Regimental Operations Officer as outlined in MUG/4th class rules.

Only those authorized by the Regimental Operations Officer as outlined in MUG/4th class rules.
